The challenge

Great recipes are buried in reels and long videos: you pause, rewind and screenshot just to get the ingredients. Most recipe apps are also English-first, with Arabic translated in as an afterthought.

What we built

An app built in Arabic from day one, with a full right-to-left layout and English support. It imports recipes from video links, cookbook photos, screenshots or text pasted from Notes or WhatsApp. Recipes can be sorted into cookbooks, tagged, rated and given personal notes. It also has a weekly meal planner, an automatic grocery list, a Ramadan mode and nutrition estimates.
